I was wondering if anyone knew of any really simple payroll software. Everywhere I look it's got direct deposit included, tax forms included, this included, that included. I need something simple. What I'm trying to do is find a piece of software that will allow me to log all my employees (about 20), write in what they made each week (sometimes variable), and give me a total at the end of the month, year, current total, etc. That's not too much to ask for and if I had the time I would create the program myself in a web-based php script or something and save everything to a database.

did you look in hotscripts.com ? sometimes ago I found a php web based one there. I don't remember its name but I'm sure there are many.
search in download.com. u will find many.
