Hi freinds now i am here to ask a doubt on installing a new phpbb2 theme for my forum...It may be simple for you guys but i dont know how to work out this one...???
So wait a minute dont think this is very much simple...!!! 
Actually what i want to do is that i want to install a new themes say one or two themes to my existing forum running at www.njoyzone.co.nr ..Now listen... I ahve installed many modifications (Mods) into my forum and done so in template files also...So if now i want to install a new template what steps should i adopt...??? 
Someone help me with this problematic situation... It would be of great help if you would explain it step by step method..(if you guys are willing..otherwise na..leave it..!!)..So someone please get me a solution for this...Hope to find anyone with the solution so soon... If you list what mods you have installed, guiding you through the process will be easier.
Be advised though, that mods+themes = hard work. It isn't difficult, but you will have to modify the themes to fit the mods yourself - adding your own markup etc. to the files.
Its easy to install themes though! Just ftp them into the themes directory, go to admin panel and install theme! Then select with user and/or set as default and your good to go!

It is great to see that you replied..But i know to install the templates...But i want is that i want to install new templates and the existing mods should work well with it also...!!!
The main thing is that i have installed many mods using Easy Mod..So will that not be a problem...??
Please help me..I want to change the template as soon as possible..because my friends keep on telling me to change the present template...as it is a bit dark...And so i would like to install new light color templates...
Please anyone help me out..!!Most themes aren't compatible with easymod. So it will require you modifying the theme for the mods by yourself (without easymod!)
An easier way to do this would be to just modify the images and stylesheet of the existing theme. (I presume you know css and html?)
Now may i ask you one thing....
Will it not be enough to do editing only for the respective files related to the Mods in the template folder....
For the new template files only the editing should be done...Is that not enough...??? That is..
1.I will upload all the files related to the template into my Templates folder,
2.Then i will open the respective template folder and open each file related to the Mods and do the editing only to those files...
I think i am right..!!!

If i have understood you correctly, then that should be fine.
You may also have to clear the cache/ folder for the changes to show up.
But may i ask you one thing...After installing easy mod and cash mod some files will be created in the templates folder right...
So what should i do with those files...Will it be enough to copy the existing files to the new templates folder...???
I don't know sorry. Not an expert with easymod or the cash mod having never used the cash mod and only once tried easymod.
Easymod probably won't work, do it by hand.
easymod will not work on all templates. You will have to do it by hand. Sometimes you get lucky and everything is cool, but most often than not it doesn't work out that way
