Hello all
I want to have a html (or other types fo web pages) converted to PDF and saved locally, like done by Adobe Acrobat 8.0 (create PDF from web page function).
From the list of free apps topíc, we have And I tried the PDFCreator because I like opensource programs. However it seems to be a little limited and I didn't find the function to do what Acrobat can do. Where is it? If it's not capable of doing so, then can you recommend me a good one?
PDFcreator is just about the most versatile free program around. It actually CAN do just about everything that the commercial Acrobat PDF print driver can, it just has a different interface.
So, how do I grab a webpage and convert it to PDF in PDF Creator?
very good share thank you. i have been using adobe acrobat for a long time and I didn't realise that there are other tools to convert other document formats to PDF. thanks for the share. really appreciate it. hope it works well as expected and I'll give it a try hopefully can save some money without using adobe acrobat.

You're welcome!!
So, anyone knows how do I convert a html webpage to pdf?
From your browser, File->Print. Select the PDF Printer from the list of printers, and print.
And another cool PDF Reader is FOxit Reader. It's fast and has a lot of plugins.

Can Foxit convert a webpage to pdf (print to pdf), with or without plugins?
OpenOffice.org can save into PDF files. Unfortunately though its importing of PDF's is just shocking.

is that too difficult???? or not working for you???
just google for "free HTML to pdf" converter and u can find stuff but all will be using same (printer driver method).
and u can try for online pdf conversion @ www.pdfonline.com
You can also look up on Primo PDF at: www.primopdf.com (Completely free PDF creator - Create PDF files from 300+ file types.) I've used this software for 2 years now and like what it can do. It utilizes the printer driver to produce PDF files. So anything you can print is convertable to PDF.
Thanks!
But does anyone know a good PDF to HTML convertor (that makes the job correctly, with no alignment issues)?
I have found BullZip PDF Printer (download here: http://www.bullzip.com/) to be an effective PDF converter from most document formats to PDF. It includes a range of options and I haven't had any trouble with it yet.
I have tried Paperless Printer (which can convert most documents to PDF, BMP, HTML, RTF and a few other formats), but had difficulty using it with MidiComposer to print to PDF. It can be downloaded from here: www.rarefind.com/paperlessprinter/downloads.html. I have not tried using it to convert to HTML, so I don't know if it causes alignment issues.
Go for PDFCreator. It is pretty good.
