email configuration with Joomla

Hi,

I have installed Joomla 1.5.1 on Frihost. All works well, but the new regitered doesnot recieve the confirmation mail.

Can you help me to configurate the mail, in Joomla, or for Joomla.

If you mean Joomla isn't sending the mail, and not that the mail got loss somewhere and not reaching the user, all you need to do is edit the global configuration.

Login to the administrator back-end -> go to 'global configuration' -> 'system' tab -> 'user settings' -> tick 'yes' in 'new user account activation'.

The mail was not send by Joomla.

Joomla is configurated like you said, but it doent work.

I realy do not understand where is the problem.
