It could be possibly dangerous, as some research suggests, but it cannot be severe. Every EM field has potential to do some harm, especially to an object of such high complexity as our brain is, but relax, there are thousands of other processes that can be much more dangerous to your brain.
Are you sure it's not your jaws which gets tired? I use handsfree because of ergonomics. My hands gets locked up if I hold cell phone too long.

Not all handphones emit the same amount of waves and it also depends if the person is sensitive to it haha, that's just about it.
