Usually when you get that error, it means that the display driver is corrupted or didn't install correctly. Just download an appropriate version from the nvidia website that is more geared towards the 5500 series and reinstall the drivers.

Make sure to disable any anti-virus program running prior to the installation of the video card drivers.

Usually the steps I take to remove nvidia drivers are:
1. Download the drivers
2. Uninstall the old drivers
3. Reboot into safe mode
4. Disable anti-virus program
5. Reinstall the drivers.

Your steps cannot solve my problem. Anyway, thank u so much...I hope to see another solutions or I will change to a new one...(probably with the g-card itself)... Very Happy
