Can Magnetic bag destructing my digital camera function ?

hi,
i just buy a new digital camera Sony W80,
and i buy a digital camera bag also,
but somehow that annoying me is, i heared that magnetic cover button that to close and open the bag can destruct my camera function,

is that true ?

Those cards are apparently pretty robust. I hear that SD cards are slightly more sensitive than CF cards, though I personally wouldn't worry about it. The magnet in your camera case is probably not very strong. I think the absolute worst case scenario would be that your card might get ruined, but like the other poster says, your camera should be fine, IMO.
