i cant agree with that sorry. i learnt CSS on cuting and pasting. And use google to search for tutorials for CSS

Once you get the basics, most of it is pretty self-explanatory.

I recommend that you start with trying to implement a styles(orwhatevernameyouwant).css file in your webpage.

So either google a tutorial or check out some websites that got it.
Here's an example from one of my sites:
http://www.rakennusvestra.fi/styles.css
(The hover buttons are easy to make and great fun Very Happy)

I agree, there are some great CSS tutorials on the web.

But, you can learn certain CSS tricks by cutting and pasting.
Like a footer that stays at the bottom of your screen.

Good Luck Very Happy

The number one site for learning anything web related, IMO is w3schools.com

They give you everything you need. It's a good starting place.
DoctorBeaver
I learned from w3schools tutorials and by downloading from www.oswd.org and playing with the code.

The best is to use a book. A book will give you all the information and you will have a wide knowledge. Of course you can find all you have to know on the Internet but it's harder to find something good because there is a lot less good information.

I kinda disagree, sure books probably contains much more information, but most likely much less relevant information compared to just googling what you need to know.

Hello,

If you want to learn CSS, you can visit these websites :

http://www.w3.org
http://www.csszengarden.com
http://www.zeldman.com

Most of the *good* stuff is both on screen and on hard-paper books.
Summer
my siggy. I have a css tutorial. Feel free to read them ! =D
Phil
etc. has tons of links back to CSS tutorials.
Smashing Magazine does too. Very informative stuff.
Oh, don't sell books short. Sitepoint.com offers some really good CSS books written by some incredibly talented people. There are others of course, but you would really do yourself a disservice by ignoring help just because it came from a book.
