PDF settings - Acrobat

Hello,
Do anybody work in printing industry?
I want to make a pdf file to send it out in the printing house.
I have Adobe Acrobat 7... can somebody tell me what are the settings for the press-print? (no, I am not ok with "press" preset).
HELP! This is important.

Just install Adobe Reader 8. It's perfect for such stuff.

Your favorite print house should tell you what settings are acceptable (on their website or elsewhere). You should use PDF/X1-a for maximum compatibility. If you have some pictures in it, you should check color profiles and use one, which is recommended by you print house in your country.

There are many webs for graphics, you should consult your problem there.
