Philosophy o life

Chucky
My philosophy of life is simple. Life is not worth living until here is some sence of elegance and enjoymenin it. Do you think so?

Elegance and enjoyment are important but not enought i think. Investigation and accomplishment are more important.
Afaceinthematrix
My philosophies:

- Have fun
- Don't get married, or do anything that requires that kind of commitment, until you've seen the world and done everything that you want to do (35 is a good age)
- Don't have kids (they're bad investments and can stop you from doing everything you want to do)
- Don't stay in the same place your whole life. Move around, travel, and live in different cultures.
- Be adventurous, you don't always have to be safe. Trek through the Amazon Rainforest, climb Mt. Everest, or learn to skydive. Whatever you do, make sure you have adventures.
- Live life for yourself, like I said... don't have kids and don't get married until you've lived life
- Finally, have no regrets...

Those are my philosophies on life and I know they'll probably differ from most people's philosophies because many people want to get married and have kids. But in my opinion, that just ends your life right there.

Thanks, I've met very few people who like my philosophy. Many people tell me that your life is just starting when you get married and have kids but I think that's when it ends. Many people in my family have gotten married extremely young (in the 18-21 range) and I'm thinking to myself, "Why did they get married so young? They haven't even been out their front door, yet. They haven't seen anything and now they never will!" When I try to tell people that I'd prefer living for myself they call me selfish but I don't think I am. Being selfish would be having a family and then living for yourself. Since I want to travel and be adventurous, I simply won't have a family. And if I do get married, it will be after I've done what I want to do.

I would at least partly agree with that. You could probably guess where I find elegance and enjoyment.

Love yourself and be slow to love others. I know my philosophy is narcissistic but we have only ourselves to depend on in our lives.

we are all the same 'stardust' - supposingly every soul has same components as the other -> so for you to be a narcsissist-> if you love yourself then you love everyone else also!

I'm the same opinion, and I would even unfold that about married, or add a new postulate to what did u said at first place, namely: have as many girls and cars as you can!

The main problem is to find a girl that understand the fact that marriage is not an obligatory solution to be together, and have fan all over the world. I don't get such a point from air - for example my last 3 girlfriends, after 2-4 months they wonted to get marriage, and that was the end of our relationship.

I also like your philosophy afaceinthematrix, but I do disagree on love. My only goal in life has ever been to have a family. I want a wife who wants me just as much as I want her. I want to raise children as well. My life began when I was born, it will only end when I die. Love and being married are only problematic to those who have problems with it.

life is only worth living if u remain to be a cause of happiness to others... if everybody follows this philosophy then everybody will be happy......

Philosophy for me is essence of my life. For me philosophy is the use of my experience, experience of surrounding. Skipping general experience through my moral values and my mind, purchased due to my efforts, I get new results. The thus got results comport with previous experience. Even if there is inconsistency, I with lightness know when made bad a break in my conclusions (if memory will not bring). My mirovospiyatie is thus built is my philosophy of life.

1. life has only one purpose - explore who you are! Elegance - that's a very valid one.
2. enjoyment - life is FUN, they say - that must be the sidekick reason for living - a laughter! BE the creator of laughter!

i would have said that life has only one purpose: that being to reproduce. to continue life.

Mine is simply:
Accept and Respect.

Comparable to "Live and let live"

But my favorite is what my mother always tells me;
"Eat, drink, and be merry'

We really only have one life to live. Yeah, people are different, but get over it - we're all human!

I agree, life should be lived to the FULLEST. we have the capability of making it great. Everything we want it to be can happen. Finding joy in the simplest pleasures is where we should start. Finding joy in a smile, a laugh, a pretty picture, the beauty of nature, the eyes of a baby. Looking at everything as if it was the FIRST time you have ever seen it, is key. For example, we take for granted how incredibly beautiful roses are. Imagine looking at a rose for the first time as if you had never seen it before...how incredible it would be! the color, the gentle way the petals flow together, the way it smells, the fragile beauty is resonates.

Let's all help each other to remind ourselves that life is beautiful. Let's all open our eyes and be open to the love and beauty that surrounds us.

What I'm thinking of now: work hard, and from hard work comes true happiness and success. I've experienced it and seen it time and time again. Might be just be, but when I know I could've done better at something I truly regret it.

I just follow the philosophy of Ancient Greek Epicurius. He one said "Pleasure is the highest good" Very Happy
