Problems viewing certain sites in Firefox

iamadam
Hey!
I've noticed recently that certain sites do not display properly when I try to view them from Firefox.
Odd thing is, they work fine in IE7. Stranger still, is that the same sites work fine when I access them through Firefox on my laptop.

The computer with the problem is working WinXP SP2.

Thanks in advance Smile

It's the website developers fault. they won't make it compatible with Firefox. that or they hate it ( biggest trouble is using a Microsoft site! ). Rolling Eyes Also could be you're plug ins, you're Firefox versions and the Window Version. And it also depends where you get you're windows OS from. EU removed windows media player from there xp's. just a hence of the many issues it can be. but if you like using Firefox, get the IE Plug in from the extensions

Also if you don't want to use IE try out there alternatives out for a spin!

Are you sure it's not just that one of the computers has a lower resolution than the other? That would explain the firefox rendering differences.

If the same site works on a different installation of Fx then there is something wrong with the fx installation.
Try reinstalling. Are you using any extensions that could be causing problems (like noscript)?

Is the version on your desktop and the laptop same ?
Because I knew that 2.0.10 has some rendering issues as it mozilla released the 2.0.11
to solve it.

So, try download a new version 2.0.11 to see if it is work.
