well i today noticed a very surprising thins. last time i visited my yahooo inbox 2-3 weeks back and today when i opened the inbox, there were hundreds on new mails but the first few mails were sen. Infact the second mail was already read. I thought for a while that my account was opened by someone but later i saw a strange thins. The top 10-15 mail in inbox and few top mails in junk box were dated 2027 2028 etc to keep them at the top of the inbox for atleast 20 years. All those mails were unsolicited/junk. Hows it possible?

Thank you. I've sent my future me a letter and posted about this service in the Portuguese forum.
I sent myself an email which i will receive on a random date when i am exactly thirty years old. This is actually really cool. You could send a message to yourself like 50 years in the future and say that if time travel is possible, they should travel back in time to that exact time and place and tell you their answer. Although, if they don't show it could be that either time travel isn't possible or they simply didn't get the email.
Wow that's an incredibly cool idea! It's usually quite scary to look into the future for certain. I sent myself an email saying how I felt when I sent it and what was important in my life so I can compare.
Looks like a very similar function to a website called Time Cave - http://www.timecave.com/timecave/index.jsp.
Although the intention of Time Cave is to send scheduled e-mails to others, rather than to yourself.
A game that must be played while drunk.
The feeling in the morning of sending a drunk email, should be much worse 3 months down the line!

Got another idea.
the year is 2008.
everyone who posts in this thread can Send an email to themselves in the future
that we have to all create a new post about future you on the 10th day of the 10 month 2010,
Sort of a new thread in the future, with the same people that are posting now!
