Image Slicing?

Does anyone know of an program that will let me slice images? Preferably a free one? XD;
I would use corel, but I no longer have it at my disposal. paint can do the job, but it is much harder to get all the pixels lined up perfect. >.o; And much more frustrating.

*sigh*

I miss being in high school and having all of the latest programs at my disposal all the time.

You can use Gimp, but it has a huge learning curve. You will have to sit and invest many hours in learning the software. You can use Photoshop if you haven't used the trial version already. It's alot easier to use then Gimp since it has so many different ways to do everything, plus you can find many tutorials to help you slice images and websites such as Tutorialized.com, which has tons of web design, graphic design, and 3d design tutorials. Photoshop has image slicing? O.o Wow, I didn't know that. -.-; Well, I have elements 4.o, so I don't have it. >.<;
