I want to publish some articles related to music as a way to promote my website but I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for topics.

Does anybody have any ideas for topics which I could base my articles on?

Yes, the upper are good ideas.
You can add blog posts about your latest entries, vote for the bands, linking with bands websites, and articles explaining why you did your website, etc
