im using the following site for online ftp as im at college at the mo but im entering the username and password but its not working
the host doesnt work when i put it as frihost.net or danhill.frihost.net

i dont understand it was working before that kind of online ftp site is reliable? i have no experience with it before.
becauze, im afraid they leave logs for my ftp passwd.

I wouldn't trust them either. Did you know that there is a file manager in cpanel? Maybe not as good but for temporary use, like in college, not bad.i am aware of the file manager but i find it doesnt allow you to upload a folder you have to upload every single file which for phpbb mods can be a hell of a lot of files where as ftp does it in one foul swoop

ok i can get the eefault main accounts to wrk but the account i add dont work says the password is wrong
Maybe you can make a zip file of all your directories and files and then upload it in the filemanager. But don't ask me how to unzip it there. I haven't got the slightest idea about that. 
You can use ftp software of FlashFXP to transmit,it will be better.
