Pocket PC setting up internet connection

Hi there I am trying to connect my pocke pc to a Wireless conection. I am finding it hard to understand that it does not connect as i have succeeded to connect to my home wireles connection.

basically i manage to perform a scan on the conections setup and I configure a connection but when ever I try to connect my Pocket pc just prompts me with a settings promt i.e. it did not manage to connect

anny helpfull tips, the hard ware I am using is a compaq Ipaq

Does the wireless network have security methods used on it? For example, does it use WPA or WEP encryption? You may also be having problems if the network uses MAC filtering (ie. you need to tell the Network your MAC address before it allows you to connect). I personally use a WM5 device to access my home wireless network and have had no problems connecting.
