india vs australia series

mackhenry
its a big series for both of them and who do u think has the nost chances of winning???
bigdan
Hopefully Australia, but I'm an Aussie so I am biased. Laughing
georgekalathil
I am an Indian and am pretty sure about the match results. The series would be won 3-0 by the Aussies and Indians may manage to draw a match on a good batting track. The Indians are really no match for Aussies.

Well, I hope it's a close one. I've gotta admit, while it is nice to see the Aussies keep winning, it does get boring. I hope India puts up a good fight in this series, I really do.
desertwind
This should be a close won, even though i feel Oz might win the series, but not for a margin more that 1-0.
mackhenry
i hope the best team wins but personally i want india to win if india win the test match the will be 2nd on icc ranking
tamilparks
what a bad india now india is struggling with 150/6 and India require another 349 runs with 4 wickets remaining
mackhenry
wat a teally bad day for india they lost
but in every lose there is a win someone said
tamilparks
we wait a see ok
bigdan
Yeah, what happened to India? I thought they'd put up an effort, but they fell apart in that afternoon session.
mackhenry
they lost 1st match but they will win the next match which is on 2nd jan
desertwind
Too Bad!
mattchun
I just can't figure it out why so many people like craket here? In any way, it should be somekind of sports that only a few people take part in and can not be compared with football, basketball or something like that.

But in Frihost, I feel that there are too many people like craket, can anyone tell me why?
georgekalathil
Wht about the sydney test. THe aussies are already on their backfoot..
orno
not anymore.... i think this one might just end in a draw...

ugh, who am i kidding, it will be a whitewash 3-0 for the aussies
mackhenry
second day india 216-3,laxman hits a ton and dravid 50century
i hate the umpires they gave andrew symonds 3times not out nd ricky ponting too
georgekalathil
On the fifth day umpires along with Aussies "DEFEATED" India. Such a bad day for cricket.

After the match New Rules have been applied for cricket in Australia.

(1) Ricky Ponting - (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED) should be considered as the FOURTH UMPIRE. As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE decision is final and will over ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is to be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the FOURTH UMPIRE.

(2) While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance), the batsman is to be considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed. Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the FOURTH UMPIRE. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE SPIRIT by all the teams.

(3) While BATTING, AUSTRALIAN players will wait for the ON-FIELD UMPIRE decisions only (even if the catch goes to the FIFTH SLIP as the ball might not have touched the bat). Each AUSTRALIAN batsman has to be out FOUR TIMES (minimum) before he can return to the pavilion. In case of THE CRICKETER WITH INTEGRITY, this can be higher.

(4) UMPIRES should consider a huge bonus if an AUSTRALIAN player scores a century. Any wrong decisions can be ignored as they will be paid huge bonus and will receive the backing of the AUSTRALIAN team and board.

(5) All AUSTRALIAN players are eligible to keep commenting about all players on the field and the OPPONENT TEAM should never comment as they will be spoiling the spirit of the AUSTRALIAN team. Any comments made in any other language are to be considered as RAC ISM only.

(6) MATCH REFREE decisions will be taken purely on the AUSTRALIAN TEAM advice only. Player views from the other teams decisions will not be considered for hearing. MATCH REFREES are to be given huge bonus if this rule is implemented.

(7) NO VISITING TEAM should plan to win in AUSTRALIA. This is to ensure that the sportive spirit of CRICKET is maintained.

(Cool THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE : If any bowler gets RICKY PONTING - "THE UNDISPUTED CRICKETER WITH INTEGTIRY IN THE GAME OF CRICKET" more than twice in a series, he will be banned for the REST OF THE SERIES. This is to ensure that the best batsman/Captain will be played to break records and create history in the game of CRICKET.

These rules will clarify better to the all the teams VISITING AUSTRALIA.

Yeah I think that these rules are in effect.

I do not watch a lot of cricket but I heard my friends talking about this. It was shown on camera wasn't it. Ricky ponting actually told the umpire to give the decision as "OUT" and the umpire really did. Both of them should be banned from cricket for ever.

And the australian teams should never be involved in match fixing.

the saying 'a bad workman blames his tools' springs to mind here.

Maybe, just maybe, Australia are actually a better team and won because they played better.

or perhaps India saw Pakistan perform an act of grandstanding last Northern summer at the Oval, and thought, me too, if they can do that so can we...

Australia has won 16 (or is 15?) tests in a row (without a loss or draw) and yet these sooky indians STILL CANT ACKNOWLEDGE WE ARE A BETTER TEAM

GET OVER IT YA SOOK!

And Australia won the series 2-1, so whats your point? India still lost Rolling Eyes
bigdan
What the hell? I'm sorry, but you guys (India) lost the series fair and square. You can blame the umpires, the crowd, the other team, the media, everyone you want. You can accuse one another of this and that, but in the end, India simply wasn't good enough. It happens in any sport you can think of.

Maybe next time, eh?
georgekalathil
WEll...Lets wait for the the one day series down under. I think the series is evenly poised as the 3 teams has a chance of winning. But Australia has a leading edge. The one day series will also be the last tournament for one of the best Wicket Keeper / batsmen the world has ever seen. And he is none other than dam Gilchrist. We will be missing him. Anyways kudos to this great player....and he has taken the right decision at the right time..

who told austrilia is a winning team.. the only team is INDIA which gives struggle to austrialia

Yes India give struggle to Australia and finally India struggles itself miserably...
tamilparks
no no we can wait and see till the FINAL match with AUSTRALIA
mackhenry
yes india wins australia defeated .
tamilparks
very nice match, by the grace of god we won in the last over...........
mackhenry
australian shoudnt be over confident
kamz
And the results are finally out ...... India has shown the what a determined group of people can do ..... I think what has changed is the attitude .... from being the quiet and all listening folks we have now transformed into someone who throws back what he gets ....on and off the field as well ..... Laughing and of course the self confidence that we can beat anyone ....just anyone ..

well thats not the only things .... of course the what has also halped is the bowling find in Ishant Sharma .... ohh ... he has been spectacular .... i just hope he remains as humble and sticks to his basics....you have the best example in tendulkar .....and not let the success go to your head ..... and of course Gautam Gambhir .... frankly when he arrived to the international scene I felt he does not have it in him to make it at the international level and I am glad he has proved me wrong .... he is one player to watch out for ..... and then there is of course the GOD .... Very Happy .... dont know what will happen to indian cricket after he retires....

This was one of the most acrimonious series I have ever observed in my last 15 years of following cricket!

It is good to see that India is able to win with so many stars like Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly absent! However, aggression must be kept in check. We must win playing cricket like gentlemen, and not be brash like the Aussies had been.

Let us look forward to times when matches are keenly contested and no longer walkover affairs whenever Australia plays!

how old are u ?
web_harman
It took 31 years for India to win a test match in Australia. in 8 attempts - India have never beaten Aussies in a test series in their den, although 1981 series ended in 1-1 draw.

Talk about one day internationals : 6 wins from 30 ODIs verses Australia in Australia.

In short - Indian performance in Australia can only improve
Fake
^and they have improved in leaps and bounds!
