rpm mess

KHO
Ok, so I was trying to install an rpm file for VMware player, I then read a bit and decided to go with VMware server. Trouble is I already ran the .rpm for the player. So when I run the .rpm for the server it hits alot of errors and wont do it. How can I remove the rpm for the player so that I can get the server one installed? when I run rpm with the -e command it says its not installed.

this might help. try running this first to get the exact file name and path (replacing "vmware" with whatever the rpm was called)

Code:
rpm -qa | grep -i vmware

Then
Code:
rpm -e filename
