Personally I love soccer but you are not the only one who hates it. Soccer is probably the most hated sport by people who are bad at it.

You are alone. No, people do hate it, especially some in nations where its not very popular like America. I am from America though and I love it, so I guess it depends.

If this is the same as soccer, then it's becoz u dont understand the game. Soccer is the game. I love most sports, but nothing beats a good soccer match.
You show your anger just by calling it "socker". Even "soccer" sound silly. But people who like it call it football (because it really is football, it is the sport where the foot touches the ball most than any other sport, right?).

Practically, I have been a fan since I was born, he. yeah, I've been a huge fan the sport for a very long time, and I only know a few people who don't like it. all of them are americans. You are definitely not alone, but you are for sure part of a very small/tiny community. I mean, I was watching a show about tribes on, I think, the discovery channel a couple days ago and even tribes that refuse to accept modern ways, play football. They made a ball from some palm tree. How cool is that?

I like to play soccer but I hate to watch it, there's for most of the time, no action. At my eyes, a game of 1-0 isn't fun to watch..

Personally I love soccer!
Soccer is excellent. Generally the problem it has are people who cant appreciate pieces of skill and only see goals as the interesting part of the game. If thats true, which it isnt, the game falls on its face in terms of entertainment value.

I dislike it not because I suck at it or think it's a stupid sport.....I just don't like it lol Simple as that. There's nothing in it that appeals to me. It's just a boring sport from a spectator's point of view in my opinion. That may be a skewed opinion seeing as how I've never played it in an organized league before...but I don't have the motivation to do so.
You don't know him. How can you make an assumption that he doesn't know the game? Maybe he just doesn't like it. There's plenty of things that I know a lot about, but I don't like them at all (not just sports).

Well, most games are boring, but try watching Champions League knockout stage, or WC finals...
AC Milan vs Manchester UTD was the best game of 2007 in my opinion...

I don't hate soccer, I simply do not enjoy it. I don't like playing or watching it, because it simply doesn't entertain me. But I don't hate it. I enjoy extreme sports.
in the UK the passion about soccer (or "football" as they call it) is so rabid as to be unhealthy. I am secretly glad England missed Euro 2008 because there won't be all the hype and nation stopping stuff followed by the inevitable disappointment.
My problem with the sport (and perhaps this is a prejudice of poor knowledge) is that I can see 2 tackles that look absolutely the same to me yet one seems fine and the other gets a penalty.
Plus there is the acting and diving factor. Some of these players belong on ER not a soccer pitch. This just doesn't happen in Rugby or Cricket (with the exception of a couple of lamentable incidents in the current england-india tour, however this is hopefully rare).

I'm American and I really like soccer although I don't watch it on TV much. It just isn't on our major networks and it is boring to watch. I'd much rather watch American football or basketball, or something. However, its a great game to play. It requires people to actually be in shape and skill but its easy to learn basic rules and just have fun. I played in leagues every year until a year or two ago.
you shouldn't say u hate it cause have you ever played it. It is NOT a simple sport and i have lots of respect for those who play it.

I like soccer but I'm not a fanatic. It tends to be too much focus on the sport when it's a championship, there are a lot of sports out there that deserves more media attention.
