Typesetting/writing with troff/groff?

Studio Madcrow
Do any of the Linux folks here use troff (usually called groff on Linux) to do their writing. It has a harder "syntax" than LaTeX (lots of very traditional Unix-y two letter commands), but it's WAY smaller than either TeX/LaTeX or OpenOffice (7MB versus a couple hundred MB) and it makes nice PDF files. I haven't tested it yet, but I here that a version called Heirloom troff can even use OTF fonts (making it just about the only ay to use those in a printable fashion from Linux/Unix)...

So yeah, any troff fans, shout out here.
