After watching the Patriots and Steelers, New England is too much for everybody..the number 1 wide receiver in the game and the best QB. i think the Colts and Cowboys have no chance..
New England Patriots
If Baltimore came close to winning. I think anything can happen, on any given Sunday.

#1 Wide Receiver?
#1 most catches by WR - T.J. Houshmandzadeh
#1 most yards by a WR - Reggie Wayne
Hmm neither of them are from the patriots...interesting comment you made there...
Cowboys will win the superbowl, Book It!
Romo/Owens is not that far behind Brady/Moss, plus we have Jason Witten who has the most receptions in the league this year (by a TE), plus we have a better defensive unit
Patriots are dangerous, for sure, and they are probably favored to win the Super Bowl. Not only that, but they are probably the best team in the league as well.....great talent and a good coach. But they could still be beat. Their weakness is running the ball. If they have a snowy, windy game, they could lose to team like Jacksonville, that can run the ball in weather that is not suitable for passing. The regular season means nothing once the playoffs start, any team can lose, it's like the NCAA tournament, you can't afford to have a bad game because these aren't 5 or 7 game series like Major League baseball and NBA basketball have. Never say never, I wouldn't even try to predict who will win, a playoff game, too many things could happen, injuries (imagine if Tom Brady went down!) bad weather, someone just getting hot from the other team....you just never know.

If their defense is so good, how did NE roll them up earlier this season?
I hate NE with a passion. They are dirty, their coach is a cheater and a dishonest jerk, and I'm tired of constantly hearing about what a golden boy Tom Brady is. However, they are the best team in the NFL and have proven so far that no one can beat them. A few teams have been close (IND, NYG, BAL) but didn't get it done.
It hurts me to say it, but it looks like NE will waltz through the playoffs and win the super bowl with ease.
Colts were within four points without Marvin Harrison!! Would the Pats have still won and still be undefeated if they didn't have Moss for 10 games of a season and didn't have their top reciever against the Colts. I think the Pats might win the superbowl but its far from guarenteed. Tom Brady is human and can have subpar games (for him). The opposing team can have a really good game offensively and defensively.
The referees did everything they could to make sure the Pats beat the Giants. That was the worst pro football officiating I have ever seen. I bet those refs all have their home loans paid off in full within the next 3 months.
Keep in mind that the Colts almost beat them this year. Also keep in mind that any one team can win on any given day.
New England's days are numbered...

It'll be a tough call but my bets is still on the Pat's to take it this year. Colts or Dallas against them would be a great game to watch !
Well they get to play Jacksonville tommorow. Jacksonville is pretty physical and will try to pound the ball and keep Brady and Co. on the sidelines. We'll see if Jacksonville's pass defense is up to the Brady/Moss/Welker challenge. They will need to have a good hard pass rush to get after Brady, cause he will pick you apart if you give him time. Should be interesting. Haven't heard what the weather will be like, guess we'll see. I'll be watching with interest. If NE was to lose that would be crazy after going undefeated during the regular season.
Pats will win it all. 26 of 28. WOW. Brady is clutch. New England has been great in the playoffs compared to how they did in the regular season and this year will be no exception. They have all the weapons to win every game fairly easily and they have the coach to make it happen. Their coach is one of or the greatest of this generation at winning, although hes also a lying dirty cheating scumbag.
I'D LOVE to see the patriots lose. I want that to happen really badly. However, its just not going to happen. Not this year. Not with spygate. Not with Brady. Not with Moss. Not with the colts eliminated.

I view the Patriots as footballs equivalent of the Manchester United that won everything a few years back- cant stand them. Its bad for the sport for any one team to dominate. Then again though, without any sort of non monetary advancement made for coming first, and any sort of penalty for coming last, the league system in football is something I have never realy been able to fully comprehend. Relegation threats in the premier league have always seemed like an excellent thing, and something I am sure they could introduce in the NFL.
What are relegation threats? The NFL doesn't have any prize incentive to come in first. You are correct. However there is a major incentive for revenue. Teams make more money if they have more fans and they have more fans if they are good. Teams make money by hosting playoff games and playoff games come with winning records. Also, players want to play for teams that have a legit shot to win the superbowl. So there are no direct benifits but there are definite benifits.
The patriots shouldve played the game they played against the chargers when they were playing us! Im a Jacksonville Jaguar by the way. If they wouldve slipped up that many times on us we wouldve ate them alive! aaahhhh!
Well the superbowl is today... It'll be good!
Thank god the Giants won and not Bill Belicheat and his Patriots.
Very exciting game towards the last 3-4 minutes of the game. With Eli being able to slip away from a sack and that one wide receiver with a very spectacular catch on his helmet of sorts.
Great defensive efforts by the Giants too. Pressuring and disrupting Tom Brady.

I don't care about football, but I sort of wanted to Pats to win the superbowl. I only watched the last 5 minutes of the game. I just wanted to see a "perfect" season. That's why I wanted to see them win. That was the only game I watched this season and it was only the last 5 minutes (which is really like half an hour).
It was an excellent game.
I loved watching Eli Manning whip pretty boy Brady.
That last scoring drive is a classic.
The energy of the half time show didn't match the game.
I would rather of seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Jordan Sparks did a great job with the Anthem.

Good for Tom Coughlin he deserves it. Now I think they need to change the rule about having a quarterback in grasp and blowing the play dead because Eli could have definitely been sacked had they blew the whistle. I like that they didn't call it and I do not want them to...but they put that rule in place and that was just a little too close. Even though I would have liked to see Randy Moss get him a super bowl as well as Junior Seau...I love that Brady didn't get it or that dirty ass punk Rodney Harrison. Im glad for Michael Strahan and Plaxico. Next year go Jags!
HAHAHAHAHAHA....
Sorry, I was just tired about hearing about the 'best team ever' ad other overhyped stuff that everyone on TV was putting up about the Patriots. Also the networks switching things around so they could show the Patriots every week didn't help things either. I was quite glad to see them lose. And it was funny to see Brady laughing before the game when he was told that Burres said the Giants would win 23-17. Brady laughed and said..."17...17 ha ha ha...." He then asked if Burres played defense and also said later in the interview that if Burres was going to predict a Giants victory he should have said like 45-42 and at least gave the Patriots some credit.

No Brady, actually they are going to hold you to 14!!

Haha yes that was quite funny...Brady is a pompous little brat...Hate him
Yeah I was sooooo glad when they finally lost. I just wanted anyone to beat them and Eli played another masterful game to beat the best team in the NFL this year, and still one of the best of all time, but not the best. The Pats are really good although i don't like them. It'll be interesting to see how they recover next year.
Now the question becomes: what will the Patriots do next year? Will they be as dominate? Could they possibly threaten the '72 Dolphins again?
I think it is possible, although going undefeated for 18 or 19 games is pretty damn difficult, especially in the NFL this day and age. However, I do believe the Patriots will have a good team that will most likely end up going to the Superbowl again.
Of course, I could be wrong too. I have been known to be wrong once or twice. I just feel that that Pats are pretty consistent year-to-year and assuming none of their big stars leave, and they pick up some new talent, I think they have a great chance of a Superbowl invite....again.

They just lost their best defensive back to the Eagles. There are also rumors that they may lose Randy Moss. I still think they are going to be one of the top 4 teams in the AFC but I don't even know that they can count on going to the super bowl unless they can shore up a couple areas....the running game and linebackers appear to be their biggest weaknesses and the DB's could be if they don't get someone good to replace Asante Samuals. Course they will still be good and have as good a chance as anyone else as far as I can see.
