Controls freeze during game in Vista 32bit

It is happening in every game. Sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes doesn't happen at all.
Mouse and keyboard freeze, but everything else is responding: the game is running, I can press the shutdown button on my case and the PC will shutdown automatically. So it's just the controls.

Any ideas? And no, I won't go back to XP Razz

If they are USB devices, try updating your USB drivers, but that's really kinda strange.

Alright, fixed it.

First of all, I'm using PS/2 connections.

Anyway, my solution:
I simply turned off the aero mouse icons. I went to the control panel, and found my mouse configurations (just search for "mouse"), and then switched the mouse icons to the older style icons.
That's it. No more freezing for me Smile

Apparently, nVidia drivers have issues with the aero mouse pointers, which are also being processed by the graphics card driver, I guess.
