Hi,
I am going to be buying an iMac soon, and as I already have 2 PCs, I am interested in installing Fedora on one of them.
Now my question is: Will I be able to network 1 Mac, 1 PC and 1 running Fedora?
Many thanks
BLINX
sure dude why not?
multiple options you have
Samba server, sFTP, Windows File sharer umm also mac os x has some new nifty stuff

You won't have any problem opening communication between the machines. The only thing that you may have problems with would be setting all of the machines to print on a network printer.
is it possible for mac to print on shared printer attached to windows machine?
I believe it is possible to share a printer between a Mac and PC, as I have seen it done before. Unfortunately, I don't know which way it was set up (ie. which machine the printer was connected to) nor how they did it.
Thanks guys, now I can go ahead and install Fedora on my PC!
Exciting stuf.. ahaha

I would prefer a network printer instead of attachment to PC so anybody can print without having the stupid machine running!!!
if you're printer got no network connection you can get one of those tiny Printer servers for few bucks and voila you're free!!!
also you can turn one of your PC's into a small print server (the one running linux obviously
)

True if that Linux machine going to run 24hr as a server it makes sense to make it as a server also you can make it a routing server too
