hello guys, i just like to ask had anybody tried to use this microsoft product? Is it okay to use in PHP?
Microsoft Expression Web?
I thought it was just the replacement for Front Page?
I'd assume it only does HTML output and that if you want PHP you'll have to put it in yourself.

I downloaded a trial a couple of months back and I can rate it two thumbs down. I am really use to Dreamweaver and I found expressions very slow and the menus clunky to the point that I was frustrated creating even simple web pages. The software still spits out poor code.
Well we have different experiences, coz i used frontpage for my designs, i admit that some of my designs is on table, but what expression is the xhtml & css friendly. I also used dreamweaver for my coding in dynamic.... but if interms in design i prefer to expression web.
Expressions is a great WYSIWYG tool. It's more easy to use than dreamweaver (because of its user friendliness). You can do web programming with any other languages including asp. If your new to the web programming world, Microsoft Expressions is recommended for you.
Yeah, I've used it, but it doesn't colour-code PHP at all. It only colour-codes HTML, CSS, and some Client-Sided Scripting Languages. But not PHP. That's why I use Adobe Dreamweaver for PHP, which it does colour-code it. I haven't tested the WYSIWYG Editor in both, seeing how I don't need the WYSIWYG Editor.
