Kanji/kana writing program

I'm just wondering, what are the names of some software that lets me input Japanese kana into a word processor?

I already have a simplified Chinese one, but I'm also looking for a Japanese software. Any suggestions? I just need some names right now, since I have no idea what existing programs there are.
