I have Windows XP on a compaq Presario laptop, and apparently, every time I log on, there's a pop-up telling me that a file is missing. It says that gzmrotate.dll is missing, and it tells me to recover the file with my windows XP disk. But, the problem is, my laptop had windows installed on it at the shop we got it from (best buy) and I don't have the windows XP disk. So, tell, me. How important is this file? And what should I do?
odd missing file
INFO: This .dll file is a Browser Helper Object (BHO) that runs automatically every time you start your Internet browser. BHOs are often used by adware and spyware. So maybe its adware/spyware.
You can download it HERE if you want it back

A search on google shows that gzmrotate.dll is not a legit BHO to be installed. Looks like your anti-spyware program has deleted the actual file but there are still remnants left in the registry. Check out this page for solutions.
