I beleive I can use WSH Scripts. Are there any other way it can be done ?

Rather is it possible to Run a Exe which is lying on the server ?

Why do you want to run it, what program, and which server?

I had a problem trying to do this about a week ago... and it took me almost an hour to figure out. The best way, I think, to do it, is find the command in VBScript. (I can't remember it now.) Then execute a batch program that executes your *.exe.

HOWEVER, VBScript DOES NOT work in FireFox unless you edit it, so I gave up on it.

You can't run a Windows EXE on a Linux Host.. You'd need to run it on a Windows Server..
Just configure a CGI script to execute.. You'd need Local Administration rights though.

I don't think invoking an exe from a browser is possible. If it is, what else can be a bigger security threat to your comp?
