Of course trust is the most important thing in a relationship! Without it, there is no relationship at all, because where trust is gone, there is nothing left to link those two people! How can you let your boyfriend/girlfriend go out with his/her friends, if you can't trust? You will be killed by doubt!
It is VERY important to trust eachother. Otherwise you will be worried and will overall have a HORRIBLE relationship.

if you don't trust, seriously there's nothing more to carry on. you 2 would be in doubt with each other and never would be happy. trust leads to happiness. i believe trust is the most basic and important aspect of a relationship.
