i made a backup.. just wondering how i now save it to my PC and then upload it to my other host... any help would be appreciated...

Use FTP. It should be in your home directory.

Download a home directory Backup (from frihost)

then at the new host...

use the "Restore a Home Directory Backup" function to upload it??
