um what is it supposed to be? I'm currently learning modeling and I don't know what you were trying to make. Is it some kind of clock man that's gonna kick your ass if you make a wrong move?

Thanks! Yeah, it sure is kind of different from the other clocks. I was actually planning on doing a normal clock, but the it turned out a bit different! Very Happy

It looks really good, a very creative idea. However, there seems to be something weird about the way you made the clock that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's the shading or the lighting, I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to be consistent. You got your textures down pretty well though. Overall a great job Smile

Good model, but the texture needs more work I think. there's a lot of texture stretching, especially if you look at this pic:


Also the mesh is a bit too dense. do you use nurbs and then convert it to poly?

Yeah, you're right about the textures, the gold material isn't very good. I'll try and better it!

I use HyperNURBS on the objects, which means that I make the mesh a child of the H-NUBRS and then I can make it as detailed (add polygon density) as much as I want.
