Is that true or not?
If I am not mistaken, I think most of the Sept. 11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia. Don't confuse yourself, though. The authoritarian Taliban regime that once controlled Afghanistan is the group responsible.

The reason Afghanistan is associated with 11september ( or 119) is because the main organiser, Osama Bin Laden came from there, all very basic stuff, but must be said.

I understand you don't agree with what they say for the most part, but I'm going to use this as an attempt to end this silly discussion before it begins. So, this really isn't directed specifically at you.
It's honestly not interesting at all. None of those people studied a single bit of the 9/11 site. Not a single source they cited had any proof or studied the site. It's a scam by some college students who are money hungry and think they're doing a favor to the public by painting our government system as a completely immoral and idiotic government (not that I agree with the Bush Administration, but there is more to the government than just them). People obviously don't realize the government is INCAPABLE of keeping any secret what so ever. The people who lead this idiotic conspiracy assume that there is not a single decent person out of the thousands in our government who wouldn't say anything...and that's simply dumb. Not only that, but these are the same people who say the US military caused the 2004 tsunami, Hitler had a military base in space, the US never made it to the moon, and so on. They have absolutely no credibility...they're out to make a dime and get attention. Every single one of the conspiracy theories brought forth has been completely debunked by hundreds of engineers, flight experts, and scientists. I don't blame these people for wanting a true investigation of what happened, because the 9/11 Committee didn't exactly provide a great one, but what they're proposing is completely absurd and not a single bit of it holds any weight.
Hundreds of photographers of the 9/11 site took thousands upon thousands of photographs of the site and not a single one of them has come forward with any evidence at all that supports a controlled explosion. Hundreds of firefighters/rescue workers spent years on the site and not a single one of them found any bit of evidence to back up the conspiracy theories. Hundreds of scientists have done study after study on the site and have come forth with no solid proof at all of a controlled explosion. There is absolutely no evidence for what these people put forth. Every idea conspiracy theorists bring up completely ignores the facts of what is truly reality. They twist the scientific studies and reports to fit their arguments. Ignoring the facts is honestly the founding principle of all conspiracy theories and this one is no exception. Unfortunately, these people have used the Internet to corrupt the minds of thousands and gain loads of support which is a terrible thing. Conspiracy theories feed on the weak minded and gullible and, again, this one is no exception.
The idea that Al-Qaeda was in relations to the US government is absurd. They've attacked the US multiple times over the past 10-15 years. Why would they take the blame for 9/11 if they're in relations with the US government? That makes no sense what so ever. If they were involved with the US government as the conspiracy states, they wouldn't have taken sole responsibility for the actions. They've gotten nothing out of this except publicity and casualties. Al-Qaeda DID 9/11. The US government had no part in it (other than ignoring the warning signs..which is another story entirely).
