Will the end of the world be brought by natural forces, our technology, or a higher power?
I.E. Giant asteroid, Nuclear Warfare, or something else.
I'm not quite sure myself, but I think there will be a Nuclear Holocaust (World War III) long before any asteroid comes...
I think it's pretty clear that if we ever got into WWIII then we'd pretty much wipe out human existence. With the amount of nuclear weapons everyone has globally, it only takes one or two to start the man made apocalypse =/.
Any one that claims to know how the world will end, is a fool.
The world will fold in on itself and be eaten by molten lava...I win.
Every species becomes extinct at some point, however man is the only species that has the potential to buck that trend,no matter what happens to this planet, this galaxy, man has the potential to move beyond this part of space should needs be at some point in the future, the only thing that could render man extinct, is man himself.

You forgot to mention the Sun.
At least we are sure that in some billion years the Solar System will change because of the Sun.
Therefore Earth will perish.
Which is the very best argument for space exploration and the eventual establishment of colonies beyond our solar system... the survival of our species.
Yep, pretty much the end of life on earth will happen when the sun fizzles out, that is unless something of similar size or larger than earth smacks into us or flies by and pulls us out of our current orbit.
There are many things that can cause the extinction of human beings before that though. Nuclear war, asteroid impact, virus.. theres too many possibilities. I read somewhere that there has been a recent trend in more females being born than males that may be due to higher environmental pollution.

Males aren't technically needed for reproduction anymore anyway so...
Oh come on, you have to have males! Who else is going to mow the lawn and take out the trash?

when god anry to all people... with rain of fires
