I'd like to share with you this fascinating article about three veteran software projects. Each with more than 20 years of continuous development.

Their source code repositories are being kept from more than 2 decades, and the development continues...

The projects are:

BRL-CAD (1983)
GNU Emacs (1985)
GCC, the GNU Complier Collection (1988)
