A frihost website search box on the homepage @ FriHost.com
Just suggesting a frihost website search box on the homepage @ FriHost.com
It would be cool to be able to search only frihost websites, and I think you might be able to get something like this done very easily. Maybe a 100x18 pixel search box and a 20x18 "Go!" button tucked somewhere on the home page.

i voted for the last option but then I noticed there already was a vote for it so I'll wait for that mod to delete the poll 
And not all sites want to be indexed, and others don't want a link on the firhost site to their site. So I don't think this is a good idea. For those who want their site on the frihost site: http://www.frihost.com/directory/ Bondings already made something for you

There is a good chance that I will put a normal search box on the home page, to search on the Frihost website. I'm not really fond of including the other sites since it seems a bit difficult/complex to do and has some problems.
It would be interesting, and I might even use it occasionally... (Say, if I was looking for a photo gallery to steal pictures from, and wanted to give more traffic to fellow frihosters instead of strangers) Perhaps it could be integrated with the directory?
Anyway, I suspect that someone who knew all the tricks for google searching could find a way to search just for sites that end in frih.net or frih.com... That might exclude those of us who have bought domain names though...

You can find a list of frih sites by going to dnscoop and typing in frih.net.
