What a near miss, Leicester City almost beat Chelsea (perhaps reserves though). Chelsea scored twice in the last 5 minutes to win 4-3, Leicester doing what comes naturally to them and throwing the game away in the closing minutes of a game. This was perhaps a way of the Foxes of winning a piece of silverware, as it is a noddy competition were the big teams give tryouts for the youngsters or reserve players. (thats how Coventry managed to beat Man U in the last round)
Carling Cup
Chelsea are also suffering from a ridiculous number of injuries at the moment. Pretty all of their starting defensive players are injured. Cech, Carvalho, Terry, Paulo-Ferreira, Ashley Cole. Its ridiculous.
