i have a webpage at server 2 also and i can't reach it now from firefox and opera and netscape. but strangely i can see my html in IE without any css or images...(i use ctrl+F5 but i don't know if it is about caches)but cp.frih.net is unreachable from all browsers... and this is the case i think for a hour...
is there any solution???and when??
I think we have to wait until Bondings restart the server. I don't think there is something we regular members can do.
Hope this only need to restart httpd service, and no other serious matter
Two hours without the service... I'm eating my nails.

I hope so too. Hopefully it will be restarted soon.
This is supremely annoying! I can't even put any images into my posts at the moment! Not to mention my website being down...
Why is it always server 2? *sigh*

Yep, let's wait for Bondings... I should have known Frihost earlier, then I would have an account hosted on server 1...
It's been 5 hours now, according to my tracker! How annoying - luckily its the wee hours here, so hopefully no one is missing the site I'm running!
Are there any long-term plans for Server 2, cause this seems to happen quite a lot?
I'm getting nervous, also I try to get into myphpadmin, but doesn't work, so I'm stuck.
I could kill for an account in server1... any one victim?... cough, volunteer?
Lucky for me it's getting really late now and my site will not be missed by many.
I hope it will be back when i return in the morning.
For me the server went out at 11:54 AM Eastern time. I was working on my phpbb3 forum adding mods and then it stopped working.
Oh my, did i break it.......
......
lol
I posted in Server 2 thread before this one was made, but i guess it was a bad idea cuz i got it locked.
Hope it's on soon.
Here's something weird: My site is fluctuating between giving the same error page as everyone else who is on Server 2, and giving a weird index/directory-looking page that is there now:
Index of /
Name Last modified Size Description
[DIR] Parent Directory 30-Oct-2007 22:45 -
[DIR] cgi-bin/ 30-Oct-2007 22:42 -
Apache/1.3.37 Server at caipocha.com Port 80
http://caipocha.com
Does anyone know why this might be? I'm thinking it's a bad sign during an already-bad day.

[off-topic] Is Frihost still running Apache "1337" Edition? That's kinda old
OK please disregard my last post...at http://caipocha.com I get the directory page, but at http://www.caipocha.com I get the same error message as everyone else. Which is strangely comforting: at least all of my files haven't been deleted?

I know! Server 2 is always down...it's always down for a few moments every hour
....and now it's down for ages! *sobs*
Everyone wants to be on server 1. I don't get it though...isn't server 1 a virtual server? how come it never goes down? i think server 1 should made to go down for a day or something....just to get revenge *evil grin*

I told you that scripts were wrong coded...
Oh my. Seven hours... Are we there yet, Papa Bondings?
It's midnight in Belgium right now so unless somebody calls him out of his bed, don't expect a reboot soon...
Doesn't anyone else have SSH access into the server? Then they could easily restart Apache remotely... one of the senior guys?
We're up to 9 hours now! Now even though it is down at the moment I think the service is fantastic. For a free host we do pretty well.
Here's the uptime stats I have on the server:
http://www.siteuptime.com/statistics.php?Id=41099&&UserId=54829
Most of those is caused by the Apache reset so in reality the uptime would be much higher.
Hey you guys, server 2 is back! Finally!!!
The service is UP!
Thanks, bondings, I eating nails and fingers, but now it's time to back to work.
Only a thing, I feel some slow the access, anybody?
Well, let's back to work in the sites!
Thanks to the Frih Team

I just checked as well, it is up! Rejoice everyone!
Any news on what the problem was?
It was a simple configuration error in the httpd config caused by an account that wasn't removed properly. (include to a file that didn't exist anymore) And I unfortunately wasn't available earlier to fix it. My apologies for the downtime.
ight, np bro.. we understand we all have lives ( sum of us
)
