1 to suggest it in the suggestions forum
5 to agree that the light bulb needs changing
3 to disagree and who claim to like the light bulb the way it is
1 mod to say that he agrees that the light bulb needs changing but it isnt a priority
4 to pass comment on the light bulb even though they dont have an opinion but because their points are in the negative
1 mod to point out that the changing of the light bulb was suggested in 2005 and is on the "not to suggest" list and close the thread.
Liked it
Liked it a lot!
Isn't this a joke on the "How many blondes does it take to change a light bulb", right?
I usually hate these kind of jokes but this time it seems so familiar to me.
What about adding:
1 Site Admin to agree to change the light bulb.
(2 years later) 1 Site Admin still plans to change the light bulb *soon*
Ha this made me laugh (a lot
) and usually i have a very dry sense of humour. And i like Bondings addition to the joke (its funny because its so so true).
Heheh, it's a nice one indeed.
I agree I liked it too.

Is it an old-fashioned filament light-bulb, or is it a low-energy one?
BTW: In most forums there'll be at least two or three posters criticising the spelling in any and all posts about the light-bulb changing scenario and plan of action - especially if anyone has misplaced an apostrophe.
very good it made me chukle

And let's not forget....
27 disgruntled frihosters to report the lightbulb topic as spam
29 other posters to backseat moderate and call out the topic as spam
4 posters to correct the spelling/grammar of the lightbulb topic
and finally
1 very smart frihoster who pm's Bondings and has him actually change the @#$%! thing.
Two posters could have the thread closed in an instant.
One to ask "how long will it take to change the light bulb?"
One mod to reply "Read the stickies" and close the thread.

That really made me laugh
It is long since I have heard a good joke like that. Usually I just hear terrible ones.

I don't know how many times I have seen people here backseet moderating,
and other people backseet moderating by telling the first ones that they are not allowed to backseet moderate

LOL! Now you are getting somewhere but just where that is, is yet to be seen. LOL!

Bondings has a sense of humor
I was thinking the same thing when reading this post
lol now that was funny
Good rework of a classic joke. The "how many _____ to change a lightbulb?" works well for any situation!!!
Enjoyed it, thanks for sharing!
I disagree.

I don't care.

I better not see a fight break up leaving a mess for me or another mod to clear up!
On a personal note, I liked the joke
lol
I copied it to take it my forum as a nice joke
Hahaha, brilliant!
I'm leaving this thread here instead of moving it to the Jokes section because the brilliance of the original post, and some of the other replies deserves points!
Maybe I should start a contest on this or something
lmao, nice call truespeed. it seems we can all relate to this, regardless of our personal objectives with our webspace, forum involvement, etc.
I really liked the joke, and reading what other people posted as a response to the original joke, but I feel that one point got made but not enough laughs...
39 negative point posters to use the topic to get their score up by discussing in detail every option known to man for changing a light blub no matter how far fetched the idea might be...hey, it's points.
BTW, I am one of those who actually tries to voice my opinion by coming up with good and interesting topics. Hense my point value suffering at times...I refuse to cheat.
haha very witty.
Made me smile at any rate
hehaheh... maybe we should call chuck norris at first
True, true... sad, but true.
Ummm, is it dark in here?
Guys?
Anybody here?
I still can't see you.......

Funny
But surely its none because a lightbulb is real and this is a virtual place:D
but then again if all of us met up it would only take 1, unless the light was on, in which place it would be 2 because he would get electrocuted.
Nice one
axaxaxa
very funny, but
Shouldn't this be in the joke section???
funny.... I liked it too.

lmao i like this joke alot i found it really funny lol
Hahaha... Very funny, I liked it
