I'm currently making a new game and was wondering if anyone could give me any tips for the graphics. It's gonna be a dark-themed game with zombies and robots. Here's some pics:

I think it would be a good idea to add more detail and try to get rid of the while outline around the character so he fits in better.

Looks pretty nice, but really more of a SNES game. But there isn't really anything wrong with the graphics in my opinion.
It looks way better without the white outline around the character. And maybe try to get him a bit bigger?
And you should stick with the NES look all the way, definitely remove the two gradient bars at the top right, or replace them with NES pixels or something.

Be good if those health bars (?) were more subtle, looks much better with his outline removed. Any higher res?

The first bit will be a bit boring but i'll try to make the levels action-packed. Anyway i'll probably add better graphics after all the programming and stuff. cheers for the comments. I can't do great graphics because i've only just started really.

well here's another revamp:
The textures (or sprites, however you call them) is repetetive and it's all just low quality, if it was meant to be old, make a beautiful game and release it in a few years 
I absolutely love those pics, being a fan of pixel art.

These are quite nice! The character sprite looks better now as the outline made him look... strange.

great job on finishing the game xD but i didnt like havig to download that plugin i suggest that you change that, afterall you cant trust every pludin link on the net..yes i'm talking about you zango. Well keep up the gam creating.
