Website Status Tool that send reports by mail

don't know if this is the right place to ask,

i had some problems on bandwith and uptime with one of my sites (not hosted at frihost) but i'm wondering if there are any tool that send reports about website status by mail.

By website status i mean bandwith used, if the server is online or even visitors reporting...
it can work cron based, time-by-time it send teh mail, or status based, bandwith has reached a
dangerous level.

Well, I'm not sure about the report itself, but you could use PHP's mail() function if your server supported PHP...
