I have played what I think is the most frustrating game ever invented for 30 years and I still can't believe the level of incompetence I some times reach. One day you are brilliant at it with a show of reasonable skill, but the next day you can be rubbish. I have over the years played a number of sports and reach a level of proficiency that may have been fair to middleing, but whatever it was I could keep it at that level for a while, including playing for school and college.
