This board looks promising if you can get a few more people to start posting.
One thing, I think you have WAY too many child boards. I think you should just separate by sport. No need to create child boards for each conference. I can understand separating pro and college and major and minor leagues and I guess that separating NL and AL baseball is a stretch, but reasonable.
Also, I think having a trash talk forum is useless because people can just as easily trash talk in the sports forums.
There are no subforums in the Hockey forum even though you say there are.
I would guess that you would get more soccer discussion if you change the MLS forum into a general soccer/football forum.
Looks nice though. Has a newspaperish sort of feel to it.
