PCI Graphics Card and Team Fortress 2 - Please Help!

LostOverThere
Hello,

I was wondering if Team Fortress 2 is capable of working with a NVidia Geforce 8500.

Thank-you.

EDIT:
I realised I have a PCI Bus, and not a PCI Express. Are there any video cards compatible with a PCI bus made after 2004?

TF2 will play fine on any card bought after 2004ish. The 8500 is a solid card with most of the latest tech, just no power whatsoever. I would turn down the the resolution, and graphic a bit until it plays smooth. Or you can get a slightly more powerful card and play the game full out, the 8800GTS 320Mb is a cheap but awsome card.

Edited the first post and changed the title.

You'll need AT LEAST an AGP slot. I haven't seen a PCI video card in ages. Either you have a really old computer or a motherboard stripped of it's graphics slot, something you sometimes find on low-end retail computers.
