Checking if content has loaded?

Hey, I am trying to build a flash game website. It works, but it takes a minute for the flash game to download from another host.

My question is:

Is it possible to check if the file is downloaded, and if the game is not downloaded it will display a:

"Downloading game, please wait . . ."

message until the game has been downloaded?

PHP is server-side only. You can't check if the client has downloaded something through it.

You want to look at javascript or a flash pre-loader.

Yes I was thinking that Javascript would have been brought up here. Anybody know how to do this in Javascript? I can't do it because I don't know Javascript. >.<

Am I able to make a pre-loader on Flash, WITHOUT putting the Pre-loader onto the flash game. The flash games ARE NOT mine, but I have permission to put them on my web.
