A new Indian movie "Mangal Pandey "

Is any of you interested in indian movies? Well, one of the latest releases is the "mangal pandey" a hostoric movie based on the The life and freedom struggle of an indian who initially workes as a British sepoy but Revolted against the British rule for the country's Freedom. The unique part of the movie is that it shows how even in a foriegn rule Indian Soldiers had great understanding and friendship with their english fellows.The English Actors have also played their part well ... Its a must for those intsrested in hostory and knowing more on india's freedom struggle.

Hmmm.... bollocks to all the critics (sorry, I know I'm a Mod... should avoid that kinda language)... anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. I think Aamir acted great, though the critics think his acting wasn't good enough... to me, he exuded personality and that was required. Mangal Pandey wasn't a great thinker, but he was a great doer and a great source of inspiration, a fact well brought out in the movie. As for the controversy regarding the fact that it's historaically wrong... it's a movie! Sure as hell they're going to take liberties with the historical facts. And I though Aamir looked great with this moustache and all, too.

I havnt seen it yet, but i cant wait to Rani is one of my favorite actresses, and aamir just totally blows the screen away when hies on it.
