Unusual travel video : Making of an island

We have travelled a lot but I'm sure, none of us are lucky enough to witness the development of an island in the middle of south pacific ocean. The yacht 'Maiken' shoot an amazing video of the volcanic development of an island and is available on YouTube.

What just happened is a volcano that has risen out of the sea and the lava that react with the water and so become ground but still it must cool down and become solid.
This effect will take many weeks before you can enter the "island".
