What are some good methods and ways for a Japanese student to study and learn written and spoken English, with emphasis on composition, in order to prepare for English Language exams in four months, to be able to enter a top rated Japanese High School?
Thank you in advance for your help.
The best way would be to talk to someone who natively talks English. The next best thing would be trying to read English books out loud.
I would recommend spending some time listening to English speech while reading along. If you can stop and start the audio, then you can get a lot of practice at listening accurately. You might try the Voice of America, as they have a lot of material in both spoken and written form, and different levels of English presentation.
Thank you both for your help.
