Ever since the Frihost blogs opened, Each day I went to Bondings to see what was happening. This started to get a bit annoying because I had find a post of Bonding's and them click on his blog. If I wanted to get the status of some of my posts, I had to click another button.
What I'd like to suggest is a Topic Alert on the homepage as a replacement for the Featured Discussions. This could be as simple as any new posts from our watched topics but would be a lot easier for all of us. Adding the option to "watch" blogs would be even better, but probably not really required.
It would be like a mini RSS feed on the homepage for frihost and Featured discussion's could be just another page. Sorry for the scrappy image, but heres how it could look:
