Snakes and Arrows - Rush...

Anyone listening to the new Rush album? I like the growing complexity, but their last few albums have seemed cluttered to me, overly-layered.

As usual though, there are some thoughtful lyrics. I saw this album on VINYL of all things. Is that still common? Is there something particular to Rush fans that it got released as a record? I'm used to seeing that in indie/punk records, but not Rush.

I've listened to their latest album a couple times and I kinda like it. It certainly isn't their strongest piece to date, but overall it's a good listen.

About the vinyl, I've seen a lot of progressive bands publish their newest records on vinyl - I'm not sure why one would want to buy it but hey, if it sells...

Maybe it's just that 18 albums is a bit much to start out with, but I'm having a hard time getting to like Rush as much as other progressive bands. I really wouldn't know why. I've heard Snakes and Arrows a couple times now, but I simply don't find it that special.
