BT (bittorrent) features on the webspace ?

hello , i had been visit many website that some of their server support the BT technology which enable user to download huge of data resource like : drama series , music , manga(comic) , software at their website and they claim that their are sharing not commerce. so i new to the web hosting so i still have a doubt about this BT issue , will BT hosting consider LEGAL or ILLEGAL at this host ? Question

Bittorrent as a technology is legal.
But the use that it's often put to is definitely illegal.

We DON'T allow Bittorrent hosting/linking on a site hosted by us.

so far i understand that you wana make your own bt tracker... rigth? if so than i guess that you need dedicated server for this. Rolling Eyes
