I finished reading "The Rule of Four" a few weeks ago, and I loved it. I think the characters were great, a bit deeper than usually, they really had some personality to them, which is something fewer and fewer writers accomplish. The plot was also very interesting, although it advanced slowly due to many recaps and character development.
I really liked the atmosphere throughout the whole book, and I never wanted to put it aside.
But a couple of friends of mine (who usually enjoy reading the same kind of books I do) who also read the book (but didn't finish it) were saying they just found it boring, everything took way too long, nothing happened etc.
So, what do you think of the book? Boring? Great?
